Q & A with Kelsi Blalock — OSU gymnastics

Q: Favorite place to eat in Corvallis?
A: Everyone knows the answer to this. It’s Jimmy John’s.
Q: Sport you’d like to try, other than gymnastics?
A: I have no hand-eye coordination, so I couldn’t play another sport. I love to play basketball at Dixon — I love to try to play basketball at Dixon. I’d fail, but it would be fun. I like to play “HORSE” and “Around the World.” I’m really good at shooting. Put anyone in front of me and I can’t do anything.
Q: Best OSU sport to attend?
A: I love going to football games, super cliche, but they’re just high-energy and fun.
Q: Favorite professional sports team?
A: Go Hawks. We’re doing really well. Go Seahawks.
Q: What is your favorite TV show of all time?
A: I watch a lot of TV, so probably “Vampire Diaries.”
Q: Who is the funniest gymnast on the team?
A: Besides me? Probably . . . Brittany. But I think I’m really funny.
Q: Twitter or Facebook?
A: Twitter.
Q: What is your favorite event in gymnastics?
A: Probably floor, because I’m a bit of a show-off and it’s like a show. It’s not necessarily my best event, but it’s my favorite to do.
Q: Favorite hobby when you have free time?
A: Tweeting doesn’t count as a hobby? I don’t really do much. Definitely not homework. I love to read. That probably surprises people. I’m a bookworm, for sure.
Q: If you could date any male athlete at Oregon State, who would it be?
A: Even though I make fun of him on Twitter, I think Cody Vaz is so hot. I did make fun of him on Twitter, it was bad, but whatever. Just throwing it out there.
