Response to Drage’s May 9 column Abolish marriage, institute civil unions I would like to thank Irene Drage for her May 9 column “Equal rights for the LGBTQ folks are inevitable.” Specifically, she beautifully takes the moral high ground with her word choice and structure while cramming gay marriage acceptance down our throats like bad cough medicine.
